Marjorie Cabrera is a Latina actress based in New York City, known for her grounded intensity and emotional range across film, theater, and new media. A native Spanish speaker fluent in English, she holds a BA in Journalism from Andrés Bello Catholic University and trained extensively in Method acting, Meisner, scene study, voice, and movement with top instructors including Susan Batson, Ted Bardy, and Heidi Marshall.
Her work includes lead roles in Stick Doll, an official selection at the New York City Horror Film Festival, Toronto Indie Filmmakers Festival, and Tokyo International Short Film Festival; Penny + Weize, Welcome to Canardsville, and Echoes of a Winter Sunshine, selected for the Chelsea Film Festival. On stage, she’s played lead roles such as Marisol in Marisol, C in Crave, and Thea in Hedda Gabler.
